DFT, Chiro-optic and nonlinear response, optoelectronic and PET processes
Nasarul Islam received his Masters degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) at Department of Chemistry from the University of Kashmir-India. He completed his Ph.D. on DFT studies of chiro-optic electronic system using DFT level of theory. After completing PhD he joined Collage of Engineering, Zakura Campus, University of Kashmir Presently he is working as DR D. S. Kothari postdoctoral research fellow at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab. His research focuses on the basic DFT calculation related to molecular electronic structures. Presently he design new novel material for charge transport and nonlinear response. In addition he is working in collaboration with experimental groups carrying out enantioselective reaction mechanism and interaction involved in ionic liquids.
