Dr. Sharanabasava V. Ganachari

Sharanabasava V Ganachari was born in 1983. He got his Masters degree in Materials Science from Gulbarga University in 2008. He completed his Ph.D. from Gulbarga University in 2013 in the area of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. During his Ph.D. He was awarded with Project Fellowship from University Grants Commission; the one most prestigious government funding organization in country. Later he joined as a Lecturer (Chemistry) in SSBR & SSM Degree College Shahabad India. He is currently working as a Research Scientist & Assistant Professor in Centre for Material Science, Advanced research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, KLE Technological University, (Formerly known as B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology) Hubballi, Karnataka, INDIA since November, 2014. He has more than 20 peer reviewed research articles and a co-inventor in a two patents, awarded Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Best Young Scientist in 2015-16, Fellow of Bose Science Society and Fellow of International Safety Quality Environment Management Association, Editorial board member for 6 prestigious journals & reviewer. His research area of interest is in green chemistry, green nanotechnology, materials chemistry, bio nano composites, green synthesis of nanoparticles, conducting polymers, and applications i.e. biological (Antimicrobial, Antifungal, Antibacterial, Anti-cancer, Artificial bone), sensors (Piezo, Chemical vapors, Hazardous gases etc.), Water purification, Hybrid Photovoltaic Cells and Agricultural applications.
