Biography

I did my bachelors in Chemical Engineering (Polymer) from University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, Pakistan; which is one of the best engineering universities of Pakistan. There was an entry test for the admission and approximately 20,000 students appeared in the test and only 2000 students were selected and I was one of them. During my undergraduate studies, I got departmental scholarship (two times) on the basis of good academic performance (first position) and I also got Dean’s roll of honour for excellent performance in academics (3 times). I also represented my department in two different technical competitions and got 2nd prize in one of the competitions. I completed my bachelor degree with honours by having CGPA higher than 3.7. After completing my bachelor degree, I applied for the scholarship of European Masters in Engineering Rheology which was an Erasmus Mundus program jointly organized by six well known European universities. I was ranked 3rd out of more than 250 candidates, those applied for that scholarship. I studied in three European universities (KU Leuven Belgium, University of Minho Portugal, University of Calabria Italy) for my masters. In my Master thesis at University of Calabria Italy, I got 30 marks out of 30 with laude, the term which is used in Italy to represent that the obtained marks are higher than maximum marks. Now, I am serving as a Lecturer in University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, Pakistan from last two years. I have already published two research articles in reputed journals and three are already submitted to different international journals.

Facts of Journal

WHY JOURNALS SHOULD BE INDEXED?

Journal Indexation is done to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly journals thereby promoting their increased usage and impact. Once a journal is launched and has a track record of timely publication and solid content, it is appropriate to contact indexing and abstracting services for consideration. The decision to include a journal is based on several factors, most importantly a great deal of high quality content, with much more in the pipeline, that is produced on schedule.

IMPORTANCE OF DOI

DOIs are important to authors because the DOI guarantees that readers will always be able to find their work. They will be able to get to the author's content in electronic form readily from anywhere in the world. DOIs are important to students and researchers because the DOIs enable them to find the content time and again. All content on the Internet is prone to being moved, restructured, or deleted. The result is often broken hyperlinks and nonworking URLs in reference lists. To resolve this problem, most scholarly publishers assign a DOI to journal articles and other documents.

PEER REVIEW

Reviewers play a central role in scholarly publishing. Peer review helps validate research, establish a method by which it can be evaluated, and increase networking possibilities within research communities. Despite criticisms, peer review is still the only widely accepted method for research validation. If appropriate, they suggest revisions. If they find the article lacking in scholarly validity and rigor, they reject it.
