Biography
Bianca Castiglioni is currently a Research Scientist at the Italian National Research Council, Institute of Agricultural Biology and Biotechnology, Lodi, Italy. She has undergone training from University of Pavia where she obtained BSc and MSc. Since 2002 she is supervisor of students of the Course in Veterinary and Agricultural Biotechnology and students of the PhD in Animal Production. Since 2008 she has been teaching the course on Animal and Veterinary Biotechnology at the Biotechnology Faculty, University of Brescia. The main research of interest is in the field of Animal Genomics and Biotechnology for animal health and food safety.
