Abstract

Nipple-sparing mastectomies (NSMs) preserve the intact nipple, including nipple duct orifices. Retained orifices might remain patent and communicate with the underlying reconstruction. We report the incidence and outcomes of nipple discharge after NSM in pregnant and nonpregnant women.
