Abstract

Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST), also known as malignant schwannoma, are rare soft tissue sarcomas [1]. They commonly invade axial sites and rarely do they occur in the thorax [2]. Herein, we present the case of an enormous metastatic multilobulated intrathoracic MPNST that was first misdiagnosed as desmoid fibromatosis and successfully resected for palliative purpose.
